A retailer�s website is likely to be the first impression that people will have about the organisation. If My Flaming Heart�s goal is to further promote its brand and become a global retailer, most aspects of a good website design must be fulfilled. Currently, its website does not reflect most of those qualities, and this could potentially cause the store to lose customers.

1) Since the store enjoys immense popularity among the local community, the owner might wish to start managing an online purchasing system for a better shopping experience to customers faraway whom are unable to step foot into the store physically.

2) The owner might want to switch to a more formal, comprehensible and grammar-conscious style of writing. This is not only to gain a wider group of customers, but it also shows the professionalism of the company.

3) Website could be managed better to prove that it is up-to-date, such as placing a �last updated� text at the bottom of the pages.

4) Always keep the customers in mind. Clutters or meaningless items that do not serve any purpose should be discarded from the website to prevent losing of focus from users.

5) Use colours with caution. Colours can make or break a website. They should work well together and accurately represent the brand of the website. The owner should pick just two or three eye-pleasing colours for the background and texts. Bright or neon colours should be avoided.

6) Lastly, visual design principles should be taken into account when designing the website. They are namely balance and tension, hierarchy, space contrast, scale and unity.

Rokit

Rokit is mostly well-designed in general. The only concern is that it is not 100% certain if the website is very up-to-date as it is used for online purchasing. There was one Facebook review by a buyer regarding receiving an emails two days after ordering online saying the particular item was out-of-stock. Therefore, a more effective online purchasing system should be implemented.
